West Virginia University ticket manager Debby Travinski announced today that the WVU men's basketball game against Cincinnati on Saturday, Jan. 21 is sold out. Tickets are available for all other remaining games. For tickets, visit WVUGAME.com or call 1-800-WVU GAME.

The WVU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will be running a shuttle in conjunction with Central Cab in an effort to help fans attending men's basketball games. Fans are encouraged to park at the Green Lot across from the United Center on Van Voorhis Road and ride the shuttle to the games. Cost of the shuttle is $4 round trip and it runs 90 minutes prior to tip-off and 60 minutes after the game. The special service will pick fans up at the Green Lot and take them to the Coliseum Blue Gate prior to the game. At the conclusion of the game, fans can board the shuttle at the Blue Gate and will be transported back to their vehicles at the Green Lot.

Men's Basketball Big East Individual Tickets On Sale

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Individual tickets for BIG EAST home games for the 2011-12 WVU men’s basketball season will go on sale Monday, Dec.12, at 9 a.m.
Fans can order tickets by visiting WVUGAME.com, calling 1-800-WVU GAME begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 1-800-WVU GAME or stopping by the Mountaineer Ticket Office in the Coliseum. Tickets are available for every BIG EAST home game. Tickets are priced at $32 each for the Villanova, Georgetown, Pitt, Louisville and Marquette games. All other games are priced at $27.
The Mountaineers open BIG EAST play against Villanova on Wednesday, Dec. 28, at the WVU Coliseum. That game will tip at 7 p.m.

Big 12 Invites WVU

The Big 12 Conference Board of Directors have voted unanimously to accept West Virginia University as a full conference member effective July 1, 2012. The Mountaineers will begin competing in the Big 12 beginning with the 2012-13 athletic season.

Work continues on the men's and women's basketball practice facility, located next to the WVU Coliseum. Click HERE to view a comprehensive photo gallery of the new facility. Finishing work on the facility is now underway with both teams slated to begin using the complex sometime this winter.
Men's Basketball: Mini Packages on Sale Monday

Mini-packages for the 2011-12 WVU men’s basketball season will go on sale Monday, Nov. 14, at the Mountaineer Ticket Office. There will be two sets of ticket packages for purchase. The Gold package will include the Villanova, Rutgers, Pitt, Louisville and DePaul games for a price of $150 per package. The Blue package will include the Georgetown, Cincinnati, Notre Dame and Marquette games for a price of $118 per package.
Single game tickets for non-conference home games are currently on sale. If available, single game sales for BIG EAST games will be announced at a later date. To order tickets, fans can visit WVUGAME.com, stop by the Mountaineer Ticket Office in the Coliseum or call 1-800-WVU GAME

West Virginia University Basketball is exciting, high-level basketball recognized nationally for their excellent program. Coach Bob Huggins is recognized as a top coach in NCAA College basketball and most say he is a future College Basketball Hall of Fame coach. He is approaching 700 career wins and should see that threshold passed in the 2011-12 season. WVU is currently a member of the Big East Conference but will soon be moving to the Big 12 Conference.
